Agustí Ferrer Pino (1884-1960)



Painter trained at La Lonja School of Fine Arts. He became known among the artistic circles of Barcelona and was visited by important artists of the moment. He traveled to meet the state art and other countries art. He worked in several areas of Spain and abroad. Among his works in Sitges, the most prominent are those in the Hospital de Sant Joan Baptista, the camber of El Vinyet (1919), the chapel of La Trinitat (1929), the Casino Prado building facades (1918) and the main room in the Casino Prado (1921). He designed the Drac de Sitges that first came out in the Festa Major in 1922.
