Antoni Vigó (1928-1993)

He was a professor and historian born in 1929 in Sitges, student of the Escuela Pia de Sitges where he later taught.

He worked with his father at the shoe factory Playa de Oro, was a professor in Escuela Pía of Vilanova i La Geltrú, he founded his own academy for high school students and in 1964 he became a professor at the Escuela Pia in Sitges, where he taught for nearly 30 years.

Bachelor in Art History, founding partner of Grup d’Estudis Sitgetans and promoter of the Associació d’Antics Alumnes i Amics de l’Escola Pia, he held conferences, organized exhibitions, wrote two monographs on the footwear industry in Sitges, collaborated with magazines, with El Eco de Sitges, with Radio Maricel …
