Maria Camahort is a classically trained guitarist specialized in chamber music and interdisciplinary projects. She has experience as a performer, composer, arranger, and educator in a wide variety of artistic contexts.

With her own projects and other collaborations, Maria has performed in national and international concert halls: London (Milton Court, Southbank Centre, Kings Place), Paris (Salle Cortot), Saint Petersburg (Glasunov Hall), Barcelona (L’Auditori), Madrid (Círculo de Bellas Artes), Warsaw (Lutoslawski Hall), Krakow, Edinburgh, Brussels (European Commission), Mexico City, Chicago, Auckland, Bethlehem, among others.

She has been awarded in the 1st Miquel Llobet Composition Competition (Second Prize), the 3rd María de Pablos Composition Competition (Second Prize), and the 4th María de Pablos Composition Competition. Her works have been performed in Spain, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, and Austria.
