20:00h Transfer Of The Icon Of Saint Bartomeu

The Municipal Commission of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla, representing the local authorities, receives the image of the Patron Saint from Fr. Rafael Vilaplana, Rector of the Parish. During the ceremony, medals are awarded to the new members of the Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla Tabernacle Bearers Corps.
Then, accompanied by the Cobla Maricel, the image is carried to 5 Santa Bàrbara Street, the location designated by Mr. Joan Pros i Borràs, this year’s Standard Bearer.
Upon arrival, a prayer marks the opening of the exhibition of the Saint’s image.
Route: Baluard, Town Hall Square, Major, Cap de la Vila, Parellades, Pou Vedre Square, and Santa Bàrbara.
