The 2026 edition of the Mediterranean Guitar Festival in Sitges begins on March 29 at the Teatre Prado with the opening concert J.S. Bach – St. Matthew Passion and will continue until October 30, with a regular programme every Friday at 9:00 pm at the Ermita de Sant Sebastià.
The festival features more than 30 concerts between March and October, with the Ermita de Sant Sebastià as the main venue, as well as several special concerts at the Teatre Prado.
The event will bring together national and international guitarists, as well as ensembles specializing in flamenco, classical guitar and top-level tribute performances, consolidating Sitges as one of the leading guitar destinations in the Mediterranean.
Performances at the Ermita de Sant Sebastià take place every Friday at 9:00 pm, in an intimate setting with limited seating, allowing audiences to enjoy live music up close.
Concerts at the Teatre Prado will host special productions and symphonic performances on selected dates.
At the end of the concerts at the ermita, attendees will be able to enjoy a glass of malvasia wine, thus maintaining one of the festival’s most appreciated traditions.
