El Vinyet

There’s evidence the chapel was built before 1326. The Image of Nuestra Señora del Vinyet Byzantine is carved according to the Byzantine tradition, it’s quite small and is sitting on a backless chair. The Child Jesus is sitting on hes lap. Her right hand is raised in blessing, her left hand holds the world. The image has lost hes right hand. According to tradition, the slave who found it when digging cut it off.
