The 66th edition of the Barcelona-Sitges International Vintage Car Rally will take place on April 6th and 7th, 2024. The vintage car parade between Barcelona and Sitges will be on Sunday, April 7th.
The Rally will once again feature a large participation of vintage cars and motorcycles, many of them centenarians, coming from various national and foreign locations.
Over a hundred automobiles manufactured until 1928 – including cars and trucks – and a dozen motorcycles produced until 1938 will have to undergo scrutiny by the jury, composed of four specialists in historic vehicles. They will be responsible for evaluating the maintenance condition of each unit, to determine who will be able to start on Sunday morning from Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona.
They will also carefully analyze the quality of restoration work, to decide the winners of each of the five categories of automobiles, distributed by year of manufacture: Group I (up to 1908), Group II (from 1909 to 1914), Group III (from 1915 to 1920), Group IV (from 1921 to 1924), and Group V (from 1925 to 1928). Motorcycles are grouped into a single category of their own.
The Rally will welcome participants from France, Italy, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, confirming the international character and impact of the event.
As stipulated in its regulations, only automobiles produced up to 1928, and motorcycles up to 1938, are eligible to participate officially.
The event, declared a National Tourist Interest Festival, will gather about a hundred units that each year manage to attract the attention of thousands of enthusiasts and onlookers, who gather along the entire route to see authentic automotive gems parade by, with their occupants dressed in clothing corresponding to the era of their vehicles.

The pre-event: the exhibition at L’ Illa Diagonal

From April 2nd until the Saturday before the Rally, L’illa Diagonal hosts the traditional vintage car exhibition in the inner hall of the shopping center. 3 participating vehicles will be exhibited during the week to welcome the Rally.

10:00h Technical verifications and vehicle exhibition
On the sidewalk of Avenida Diagonal, in front of the shopping center itself. Starting at 10:00 a.m., they will begin to enter the closed park, where the jury members will evaluate the condition and quality of the restoration work of each model, and they will remain on display until approximately 5:00 p.m. The RACC team will collaborate on the logistical and organizational aspects of the vehicles.
Sunday, April 7th – Day of the 2024 Barcelona Sitges Rally
The Rally Barcelona Sitges vintage cars parade will take place on Sunday, April 7th.
8:30h Arrival of participants at Plaza Sant Jaume in Barcelona
Participants will start arriving at Plaza Sant Jaume in Barcelona from 8:30 a.m., dressed in clothing appropriate to the era of their vehicles, many of them thanks to the collaboration of Menkes, a specialist in the artisanal production of costumes and footwear. The authorities of Barcelona and Sitges will flag off at 10:30 a.m.

The itinerary remains the same as in the last editions, with the following route: From Barcelona (Plaza Sant Jaume – Ferran – Ramblas – Plaza Cataluña – Ronda Universidad – Ronda Sant Antoni – Sepúlveda – Paralelo – Plaza España – Gran Via – Juncosa – Constitució), towards L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Santa Eulàlia – Enric Prat de la Riba – Barcelona), Cornellà de Llobregat (Carretera de L’Hospitalet – Av. de la Fama – Tirso de Molina – Av. Baix Llobregat – Connection with the C-245), Sant Boi de Llobregat, Viladecans, Gavà, Castelldefels, connection with the C-246, Garraf Coast, and arrival in Sitges at approximately 12:15-12:30 p.m.
Arrival in Siges:
The approximate arrival time of the first vehicles in Sitges will be at 12:15-12:30 p.m.
Entry to Sitges by Emerencià Roig i Raventós, Av. Balmins, Port de n’Alegre, Rafael Llopart, Sant Damià, Santiago Rusiñol, Jesús, Cap de la Vila, Parellades, Marquès de Montroig, Plaça de la Indústria, 1 de Maig, Passeig de la Ribera, fins Avinguda Sofia i Passeig de Sauló to La Fragata.
The cars will be on display at La Fragata until approximately 5:30 p.m.
Monday, April 8th
The Rally will conclude on Monday, April 8th, during which participants will visit the Malvasia Interpretation Center (Centro de Interpretación de la Malvasía – CIM). While they are on the visit, 15 of the participating vehicles will be on display in Plaza Catalunya in Sitges between 12:00 and 14:30 hours.
