OOA GALLERY: A Gallery of Contemporary African Art in the Cultural Heart of Sitges

OOA GALLERY is a contemporary African art gallery located in the cultural heart of Sitges, next to the city’s most important museums, such as the Cau Ferrat Museum, the Maricel Museum, and the Stämpfli Foundation.

The gallery, the only one of its kind in Catalonia, is dedicated to promoting contemporary African art. It collaborates closely with a distinguished array of international artists, collectors, patrons, and museums worldwide. OOA GALLERY chose Sitges for its significant cultural and artistic heritage, making it an ideal location for the gallery.

Each month, OOA GALLERY holds vernissages to highlight the talent of the artists it represents. These events provide a unique opportunity for visitors, art lovers, and collectors to appreciate the works of prominent African artists. Additionally, during the summer season, we organize a happy hour every Saturday to celebrate the artistic spirit we share, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and artistic appreciation.

Our mission is to provide a distinctive platform for both emerging and established artists, allowing them to convey their unique narratives, values, and experiences through their artistic prowess. OOA GALLERY strives to give visibility to contemporary African art to all tourists and art lovers in Catalonia, highlighting the cultural importance and impact of these artists.
